Notice for visitors to Shwone websites

Last updated: October 24, 2026

Shwone LLC ("Shwone", "we") makes and hosts websites for small businesses. If you're visiting a website made with Shwone, this notice explains what Shwone itself does with information about you.

The business comes first

Each website is run by its own business. That business decides what's on its website, and it's responsible for the information you give it, such as your orders, your answers to its forms and your email address if you join its list. Shwone stores that information for the business and handles it only as the business needs, under our Data Processing Agreement. We never sell it.

Each business explains its own practices on its website's privacy page. For questions about your orders or your details, or to have them changed or deleted, contact the business.

What Shwone collects when you visit

When you browse a website: Shwone doesn't set cookies, run analytics or show ads, and doesn't track you from one website to another. The website's pages, photos and fonts all come from Shwone, so no other company sees your visit.

To keep websites safe: our firewall keeps a record of the requests it blocks, including their IP address, for one month.

When you buy something: you pay on Stripe's secure checkout, under Stripe's privacy policy. Your card details go to Stripe, never to Shwone. We keep your order, your name, your email address and, if it's shipped, your address, for the business.

When you fill in a form or join an email list: we keep your answers for the business, and record whether you agreed to hear from it. You'll get its emails only if you agree.

Who else handles it

We use a few companies to run Shwone: Amazon Web Services hosts websites and stores their information in the United States, and Stripe processes payments. They may use your information only to provide their services to us.

We disclose information when the law requires it, such as by a warrant, subpoena or court order, and to protect people from serious harm.

Reporting a website

If a website made with Shwone breaks our Acceptable Use Policy, such as by selling something it shouldn't or using your work without permission, email support@shwone.com.

Changes and questions

We'll update this notice when what Shwone does changes, and change the date at the top. For questions about it, email support@shwone.com, or write to Shwone LLC, 5441 S Macadam Ave Ste N, Portland, OR 97239, United States.
