Questions
How long does it take to get started? About ten minutes. Tell us about your business, add what you sell, pick a template, make it yours and publish. Connecting Stripe to get paid can take a little longer, while Stripe checks a few details.
Do I need a developer or a designer? No. Start from one of our templates, then change the words, photos, colors and fonts by tapping on them. There's no code, and nothing to install or update.
What does it cost? Shwone is free while it's in beta, and we'll tell you well before that changes. After the beta, it's one monthly plan, with a 14-day free trial and no card needed to start.
Does Shwone take a cut of my sales? No. Shwone takes no fee on your sales. Stripe charges its standard processing fee on each payment, and the rest is yours.
How do my customers pay? On Stripe's secure checkout, with your name and logo, by card, Apple Pay, Google Pay or Cash App Pay. Payments go to your own Stripe account, and Stripe pays them out to your bank.
Where can I sell? Shwone is for businesses in the US for now, selling in US dollars, with shipping to US addresses or local pickup.
Can I use my own domain? Not yet. Your website gets its own address, like yourbusiness.shwone.shop, and you choose the name.
Who owns my customer list? You do. Everyone who buys or signs up lands in your list, and you can take it with you whenever you like.
Can I sell services, not just things? Yes. A product can be something you ship or hand over, or a service like a class or a session.
Can I change my look later? Yes. Pick another look any time and keep your words and photos, or start over from scratch.
